Ensenada

Ensenada is located 110 km south of Tijuana by way of Federal Highway 1 in the State of Baja California, Mexico.

Sixteen km south of Ensenada on Federal Highway 1 is a beautiful town
located in a valley by the same name;
- Agua Caliente . It is named for the hot springs located south of the town. There is a wonderful spa and
tourist center at these hot springs. There is another spa at the hot
springs located at San Carlos, 4 km south of Agua Caliente

San Francisco de Borja Mission , which was the first chapel built by
Dominican Missionaries in Baja California. It is an example of the
architecture of the Mexican Viceroy period

Santa Ines Valley , where there are 40 m high rocks resembling
human figures

Punta Banda Peninsula , located on the west of Ensenda, on the south side
of the Bay of Todos los Santos. It is a wonderful paradise with beautiful
beaches. You can see seals and sea lions sunning themselves on the rocks by the ocean

La Bufadora , on the south side of Punta Banda Peninsula, is famous because of its magnificent cliffs, where the force of strong waves produces a spectacular crashing sound and natural geyser 20 m high (the highest in the world)
The main festival in Ensenada is the carnival celebrated in February or March. It is considered as one of the most famous carnivals in Mexico. But the most electrifying international event in the region is the world famous off-road race "Baja 1000".
